Work in Progress

Emily is currently working on a new middle grade novel that explores fortunes and superstitions, a project supported by the Canada Council for the Arts. She is also working on the sequel to The Science of Boys.

Emily writes everything from board books to technical science articles, with a focus on middle grade novels and picture books. Her main interests include writing about science, nature, food and culture, both fiction and nonfiction.
